The Behind the Chair One Shot Hair Awards is the largest online hair competition in the world—often called the “Grammys of Hairstyling.” With over 300,000 entries submitted across 50+ categories (each averaging around 10,000 submissions), the competition celebrates the very best in the industry. Out of more than 12,000 entries, our stylist Ali Romano proudly took home the title of Winner in the Brunette Category!

In September 2024, Masters of Balayage hosted their 3rd annual Balayage Awards—an industry-leading competition judged by a panel of respected, unbiased icons in the hair world. With over 30,000 entries submitted worldwide, the awards recognized true artistry in each category, regardless of experience level or social media following. We’re proud to share that our very own stylist, Ali Romano, was named the Winner of the Brunette Balayage Category!

Judged by a panel of objective, industry icons, the Balayage Awards showcased the BEST entries in each category, regardless of experience or follower count. Out of 30,000+ entries, we are proud to say that two of our stylists, Ali Romano & Lauren Noll won the largest category of the competition, Blonde Balayage! Congratulations ladies!
